Purpose of the Role
The Assistant HR Manager supports the overall HR operations by implementing HR strategies,
managing daily HR functions, and ensuring smooth coordination between management and
employees. This role plays a key part in talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance
management, and compliance to support Sisburma’s expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Support recruitment and onboarding processes to ensure timely hiring of qualified candidates
- Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures
- Manage employee records, attendance, and HR documentation
- Coordinate performance management processes and staff evaluations
- Support training & development initiatives for employees
- Handle employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary processes
- Assist in payroll coordination and benefits administration
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies
- Support HR reporting, analytics, and improvement initiatives
- Work closely with department heads to align HR strategies with business goals
Requirements - Diploma degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 1-2 years of experience in HR operations (retail experience is a plus)
- Strong knowledge of Myanmar labor laws and HR practices
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to handle sensitive matters
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience with HR systems is an advantage
